LPS Foundation

Dear audience,

On my friend's blog, http://blogclub-savannah.blogspot.com/, she had wrote about how she is going to talk about the netbooks. On the other hand, I am going to speak about the blogs and about blog club, so is another student. Like my friend had said, this is a really big deal. I am glad that she mentioned this because I can explain it now. The reason why this is a big deal is because, Dr. Warschauer is the person who has the most knowledge about technology on planet Earth. Well that's what my teacher says. Plus at the LPS Foundation people paid... one-hundred fifty dollars for just a plate of food! Oh yea and they donated MORE  money for these other presentations, plus other people also paid for us seven kids to get free food, with their money! As you can see all of this will be super exciting.

"Just Like Us"

Dear audience,

Yesterday I went to the library to listen to the author of the book, "Just Like Us". This book is about four Mexican girls who live in America and try to live a better life. This connects with a comment that I did on a post about what it means to be an American. On the other hand, I was really interested in the conversation that the author had with some other people. Although there were too many questions about migration and subjects like that. On the other hand, I realized that the girls in the book didn't have the objects I have to accomplish my dream. Which also made me appreciate for the hard work that my parents do for me. Do you bloggers or visitors, appreciate what your parents do/have done for you? Why or why not?

Going to Middle School Scary and Very Exciting

Dear audience,

For middle school, I have so many worries, and excitement feelings. For example, I am very excited about moving from class to class and having my own locker. The reason for why this is exciting to me is because, I will not have to be stabled in one room any more and, stay there for the rest of the year. Although I do have a prediction that I might, might get bored to be of being there day after day. Wouldn't you, or don't you think so? On the other hand, an example of being scared about middle school is, getting lost, on the first day of school. On the first day of school, my fear is to get lost, be late for my class, and stay after school in W.I.N.

W.I.N. stands for, Work, In, Now; is a program for irresponsible kids that don't complete assignments or aren't prepared for class. I on the other hand am responsible and, just would be lost in the school. Though, the councilor from the middle school I am going to, that came to my school and told us that there will be teachers around the first week to help the sixth graders with different things, I am still worried.
